Mother's Day Weekend

This past weekend was mother's day weekend and, as usual, I had to work. So overall, it was a very busy weekend for the whole family. Jeff's sister and brother-in-law bought a new Moomba ski boat. They took it around American Lake for about an hour. 9 more hours before we can officially have some REAL fun with it. But for now, we're content with breaking it in.














Another exciting thing this past weekend was that Jeff's grandma, step-grandpa and Auntie Jane came to visit. We all had dinner at each others homes while they were here. I'm sure that they were exhausted, I know I was. I can't wait till they come back again or maybe next time we can go and visit them.

We did the MS Walk this year. This is my second year to walk and Jeff's and the kid's first time. I first got involved when I was employeed with a physician who was diagnosed with MS. This year was great. The weather was perfect and the turn out was good. My mom, sister and her dog even came to support the cause. Can't wait to do it again next year, hopefully the weather will be as nice as this one.

Welcome Back

So my dad just got back from a year and a half in Iraq. We're all so happy that he is finally home and safe (especially mom). So in good ol' Jose tradition, we had a welcome home BBQ, with lots of food, full bellies, laughs, and of course Karaoke!!!!

Merry Christmas

Believe it or not, but we had a white Christmas! It was truely beautiful. The kids had such a good time. We went to Jen's house for Christmas eve and stayed up till midnight to open presents. We also went to my mom's house for Christmas day. Even though this year has been tough on the economy it didn't spare any love for the Holidays. Merry Christmas and God Bless.



Our first snow man for the year. He was so big!!! Like 6 inches tall. He had little pebbles for eyes and a beer bottle cap for his snazzy hat. Too cute.

Visiting Missouri

This past Veteran's day weekend we (Jeff, Ariana, Kai, Mom, and I) visited Rick, Pam and Momo. , This was our first time visiting them and we had so much fun. We did lots of eating out, shopping, game cubing, movie watching, reminiscing, and bowling. Oh and we did very little fishing because it was freezing!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

Happy Halloween!!! This year was our first halloween with PAYO (Ariana's dancing group) and we had our first halloween party with them. I showed up a little later because I had to work as usual, but I don't think I missed much. The kids had fun, Jeff and I had fun watching the kids have fun, and we just all had a lot of fun> LOL!!!

Ariana (and Kai) got to carve a pumpkin. Kai just watched mostly since they had to share one pumpkin. I don't remember if there was a contest... I think I was too busy eating all the good food.

There must have been something good in that pumpkin because I don't think that taking out the seeds is very pleasant.

At last, a masterpiece!!! Ariana's first pumpkin she ever carved by herself...without mommy or daddy taking over.

Since Kai couldn't do much with the pumpkins, he decorated a cup for me to drink out of. He was so proud of it. And I was proud of him...

I'm pretty sure that after Ariana was done carving her pumpkin her costume got a little dirty. I think that she tried to go and clean it off when she realized how cheaply made costumes are made now-a-days. The fabric was too thin and she was not prepared. Luckily one of her friends had extra accessories available and she quickly fixed the wardrobe malfunction. Ariana also won musical chair. I forgot how fun that game used to be. I can't believe kids still enjoy it.

Now the kids are home and it's time to carve the perfect pumpkins we found at Hunter's. Kailer got to help this time. Yeah!!!!

Time for Trick-r-Treating!!! It was a perfect night for it too. It wasn't too cold, it wasn't rainy, there were a lot kids out, and it was foggy. We went to Yelm so we could go around collecting all the goodies with Caleb. He didn't want to wear his costume though. He was suppose to be Thomas the train. The only thing that could have made this Halloween better is if I wasn't sick and sleeping the WHOLE day and NIGHT...

Auntie Jen and Uncle Steve dressed up too. Po had a costume but was too scared to go around with the family.

Time to go home now. The kids got a good amount of candy (enough to last a month or two, but we know it will only last a week) and had a lot of fun... Happy Halloween!!!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to Hunter's Farm to find our perfect pumkins!!! Mama, Pops, Jeff, Ariana, Kai, and I had so much fun. It was a good day to go because it wasn't rainy, wet, or muddy. The only things mushy on the ground were all the pumkins that were dying. But we all had a good time anyway. The kids got to ride a carousel, go through a hay maze, train ride, and more. We had some good eatin's too...towers of curly fries and elephant ears...
