So, we had a completely FULL agenda these last few days. After work and dance practice on Friday, we went to Mama and Papa's house so we could get up early to launch the boat. We were suppose to wake up at 3-4am (that didn't happen), but we did make it out of the house by 9-ish.
Day 1 of our little adventure included cruisin the Sound and going to a Mariner's game later that night. It was so nice because we just docked the boat at Bell Harbor Marina in Seattle and walked to Safeco Feild for the game.
On the boat before the game.
This was the Kid's first time ever to a baseball game. All the food, people and commotion got Kai really, REALLY hyper. He was talking to random people and taking pictures and video of the folks sitting behind us. Good thing they didn't seem to mind. Overall, I think they had a good time.
Our seats were great too. 151-38-seats 7-15. Not too shabby. Thanks Mom and Pops.
It was crazy how the crowd went nuts every time Griffey Jr or Ichiro came up to bat. But that didn't matter, the Mariners lost 5-1. Better luck next time.
Day 2, included a delicious breakfast on the boat and a ride to American lake. The weather was perfect, the water was freezing, but everyone had a blast. Jeff was going to look for the ring he lost during our last visit to American lake, but didn't get the chance. He didn't pass up the opportunity to play with the snorkel gear though. It was so funny because Jeff was cleaning the side of the boat while swimming in the water. He looked like our little "Manny". Hahahe.... Ariana and Kai even got in the water. We tried to entice Caleb, but he just wasn't havin it, who could blame him though, the water almost put me to shock.
I wonder, can dogs get sea sick???
We watched the sun set and had our cameras ready to catch the veiw.
It kinda makes you wish you lived on a lake too....
Day 3. SLEEP. We slept at Mom and Pops place that night and it was so nice. I didn't get up till 9 which is really late for me. Jeff and I made breakfast for everyone. The weekend was still young and there were things that could still be done. So we decided to make a trip to Tumwater Falls. Another perfect day!! Jeff and I used to walk to the Falls from our old apartment in Olympia, about 5 miles, not too bad. But it was always worth it.
Kai, Ariana, and Caleb....
One of the little rapids.
Oh yeah, Po was with us the entire weekend too.
My boys... Jeff and Kai
Kai is always doing something. I swear you could put him in a room by himself and he would find something to do and actually have a blast.
