Family Vacation - Day TWO

So we left Dugway, Utah early that morning, but not before saying good-bye to new and old friends and taking a tour of one of Jeff's old home towns. Before we left Utah, Jeff could not resist the call of the great out doors. We HAD to go to White Rock and go "wheeling". We got some pretty cool pics of Terra and the white rocks. Although, I don't know why they are called white rocks, they look pretty normal to me. On our way to Texas we had to drive through New Mexico and Colorado. We drove non-stop (except for potty breaks) for about 20 hours.

Jeff loves this pic of Terra at White Rock...

Jeff said that his dad and him once repelled down this rock. Keep in mind Jeff was Kai's age at the time. Terra is in the pic for size reference.

Jeff said that when he and his family used to go here for picnics, he thought this rock looked like a California Raisin. Can you see it?

And of course, no off-road adventure is complete without a FLAT TIRE!!!! Jeff was so pissed when he saw the tire pressure guage go off. Try to change a flat in the middle of no where, on a dirt road, in 100 degree weather. Not fun, but it was very funny!!! No more off-roading for Jeffrey during this road trip. So sad!

Here's a pic of the loooonnnggg road ahead.

This picture is very deceiving, we never saw the hole in the rock.

But we saw the hole in this one!!!!

Here are a few pics of New Mexico...
